Oooh! It's wonderful to see this part of their backstory, and actually get to witness the alpha battle, since it's such an integral part of what people can and can't do in the general canon of this story. (Of course, I'd love to see the battle for dominance and Courfeyrac and Combeferre deciding that they should be mates, but THIS IS A WONDERFUL MOMENT AND AN EXCELLENT DRABBLE AND YAY!!!!

Also: I'm noticing a recurring thing with soul-battles (or whatever you want to call them) and nosebleeds from you.... Though I daresay it's better than the dirty thoughts -> nosebleeds trope that's generally out there.
