Yeah, most of the breed beliefs are at least three-quarters due to the fact that people who WANT vicious dogs will go for pits/rotts because they've got good bite strength. I've met some amazing awesome dogs of both breeds. On the other hand, a mean pit is a very frightening thing and can easily break your arm.
