Fair enough. I'm always kinda wary about leaving a lengthy review on your regular journal. I flit back and forth between paranoid and simply wanting to keep all of my views to myself so I don't have to deal with much. Thus, my apologies if I'm not as verbose here as I am when you post things on the comm. But I figure my response here won't be so bad.
I started out disinterested in the pairing. It wasn't bad, it just didn't strike my fancy. Hell, TC and I rped it from time to time. I've also written the pairing a lot.
I think it's the 'a lot' that got to me. Having to write a pairing that does nothing for you, create situations for them when you just can't see it happening, etc., I was over-saturated in it. And so disinterest blossomed into disgust. Tired of the same old arguments the two would have, unable to really see any new ground for them, and rather unwilling to immerse myself into the possibilities of it. I can't begrudge anyone their love for the pairing, but it's just not for me, and it's gotten to the point of 'sigh, ugh'.
Not much of a story, I know. Just a long-winded explanation.
